Choose a column. Connect four blue or four red rings horizontally, vertically or diagonally. The sign inside each ring is artwork; the ring tells you which team it belongs to. Blue starts.

With wildcards on, an event changes the board after every four drops. A normal winning move ends the round before an event can happen. If an event gives both teams four in a row, the round is a draw. The next event and countdown are shown beside the board. Switch wildcards off for classic Connect 4.

Undo restores your previous turn, including the computer’s reply and any wildcard event. Changing player mode starts a new score. Scores last while this page is open.

Use the column buttons, arrow keys and Enter, or number keys 1–7 while a column is focused. Sound is optional. Animation follows your device’s reduced-motion setting.
