A short-time spectrum follows the recording’s strongest coherent pitch ridge. Harmonic scoring, onset energy and confidence filtering turn that continuous gesture into note events. Low-confidence noise is left out.
This is a musical interpretation, not a claim that birds sing in equal temperament. Pitch, timing, pauses, duration and relative energy come from the recording; the controls reshape that same event model for playback and export.
