Peter Michael Wormleighton

Unable to accept boundaries of any single industry or discipline, Peter has applied his endless creativity across numerous avenues with a relentless work-ethic learnt as the son of serial entrepreneurs. He is a gallery exhibited fine-artist, an internationally published fashion and music photographer, an award winning fashion entrepreneur and designer, a composer, vocalist, producer, film-maker and currently Creative Director at CDL; the UK’s largest InsurTech technology service provider.

Throughout his childhood Peter was obsessed with music, fashion, art and photography, seeing no boundaries between them. He studied the German concept of “Gesamtkunstwerk” or ‘Synthesis of the Arts’, and dreamed of one day creating ‘whole’ pieces, encompassing numerous disciplines in a single work. He obtained a Fine Art degree in Interactive Arts in 2008. Peter’s work as a multimedia artist explores the interactions between Man, Nature and Technology and incorporates social commentary, philosophy and observations on the human condition. Peter has exhibited at prestigious fine art galleries, including the Grosvenor Gallery, Link Gallery, and Holden Gallery in Manchester, UK.

His Fashion Photography has been featured in publications such as Vogue (UK, Italia, Arabia), Elle (UK, Brazil), Wonderland, and Q Magazine. Peter has photographed high-profile events at international fashion weeks, capturing luminaries such as Karl Lagerfeld and Kanye West. He has been personally invited by Delphine Arnault (CEO of Louis Vuitton) to photograph her guests at LVMH on numerous occasions. As a videographer Peter has shot music videos in Paris, London, and Los Angeles for Universal Music and Sony artists as well as fashion films and short pieces for corporate clients.

Peter is a talented musician and music producer. He was a member of The Band Loebeat from 2008-2011 who received support from BBC Radio 1, The Guardian and NME magazine. Loebeat played over 60 shows and have supported internationally renowned artists such as Calvin Harris. Since Loebeat, Peter has co-written with and produced artists signed to Universal Music and Sony ATV.

Peter has also enjoyed success as an entrepreneur, having co-founded ultra-high-end luxury fashion brand Nabil Nayal in 2011. Peter was responsible for branding, marketing, content and all business strategy. He created digital print and jacquard designs for the brand and developed cutting edge fashion production techniques such as 3d-scanning, 3d printing, computer-aided design/pattern layout. He was instrumental in securing the brand a place on schedule at London Fashion Week in the “Fashion Fringe” final, 2012. Here the the brand gained notable backers such as Claudia Schiffer and Roland Mouret. Following this, the brand was shortlisted for the highly sought-after and prestigious LVMH Prize, a global shortlist widely regarded as the pinnacle of industry recognition for an emerging fashion label, twice - in 2015 and again in 2018.

Peter’s multidisciplinary approach and world-class entrepreneurial flair has earned him a reputation as a highly sought after Creative Director and consultant in Media and Technology sectors. He has been branded “a creative genius” by legendary Music Journalist, Peter Robinson. From 2012-2015 he served as Creative Director to Universal Music UK artists and he provided creative consultancy to Brian Higgins (Xenomania) from 2019-2021. In his current role as Creative Director at InsurTech “CDL” Peter helps to oversee a £60m+ annual turnover and leads the creative vision for more than 600 staff. He is specifically focused on their international expansion, diversification, data platform and ecosystem product development, emerging technologies and CDL’s global brand.

In 2022 Peter has joined forces with Jennifer Davies to launch STUDiiO; an Art, Music, Fashion & Technology platform. Peter will be working with Jennifer to build and develop this exciting new venture, with numerous projects planned to release on the platform in the near future. 

Jennifer Davies

Jennifer Davies is an artist, songwriter, entrepreneur and doctor of blockchain technology with over 15 years of experience across various creative industries and institutions. She is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist and vocalist with a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Liverpool and has recently completing a PhD in blockchain technology from the University of Liverpool Management School. From her childhood spent working nights in the warehouse of her parent’s business, she has soared to the highest echelons of the fashion, music and academic worlds. Her career to date is defined by her phenomenal work ethic, carefully honed talents, endless curiosity and an indomitably positive spirit. 

As an artist and songwriter, she held recording and publishing contracts with Universal Music and Sony ATV between 2008 and 2015. She has recorded at world-renowned studios, including Maida Vale for BBC Radio 1, Peter Gabriel’s Real-World Studio, and Parr Street and Motor Museum studios (Liverpool). She has written with countless award-winning writers such as Chris Braide (Lana Del Rey, Britney, Beyonce, Sia), Patrick Patrikios (Little Mix, Il Divo) and Autumn Rowe (Leona Lewis, Alexis Jordan) and has performed at prestigious festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Isle of White festival, and Radio 1’s Big Weekend. 

Jennifer’s music has soundtracked a wide range of TV shows on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sky TV, BBC, Channel 4, MTV, ABC. She presently enjoys writing and performing with her Liverpool-based band HAARM, with whom she provided the official soundtrack for the BT Sport Premier League football coverage (2018/2019 season). 

As an entrepreneur, Jennifer joined fashion brand Nabil Nayal; orchestrating its incorporation as a limited company, holding the position of Commercial Director between 2015 and 2019, as well as being a shareholder in the business. Under her tenure, the brand went from a small roster of private clients to securing global wholesale contracts with Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Dover Street Market. Working closely with co-founder Peter Wormleighton, she was instrumental in the brand being shortlisted alongside Off-White, Ambush and Craig Green for the LVMH Prize; in 2015 and again in 2017, selected as one of the top 8 brands by the panel of industry experts from thousands of entries. Jennifer’s business plan and strategy for Nabil Nayal twice garnered the British Fashion Council Fashion Trust’s cash prize and she has project managed numerous large-scale fashion shows on the official London Fashion Week schedule, Dubai, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks. In 2018, the brand became the first to present a fashion show at the iconic British Library.

In 2018 Jennifer co-founded ‘Full Fat Production’, a music technology company specialising in live playback solutions, whose clients include Charli XCX, Jungle, and Louis Tomlinson. 

Keen to expand upon her interest in technology, Jennifer was awarded a scholarship to undertake a research doctorate in blockchain technology from the University of Liverpool Management School in 2017. Her research explores the role that blockchain, crypto and NFTs will play in luxury goods, art and music. She has enjoyed sharing her findings with students in her lectures in digital business at the University of Liverpool and with the wider academic community through peer-reviewed conferences and journals.

2022 sees Jennifer joining forces with Peter Wormleighton once again to launch STUDiiO; an Art, Music, Fashion & Technology platform. Jennifer will be combining all of her experience and learning to build and develop this exciting new venture, with numerous projects planned to release on the platform soon.
